报告摘要:Time perspective configuration has a high influence on different self-control paradigms as the delay of gratification (Walter Mischel) and resource model (Roy F. Baumeister). Changes under subjective time perception (duration) might be important for self-control performance, but their potential role is yet unclear. Time pressure can be assumed as being a substantial factor of influence on self-control success and failure. The connectivity of time perspectives and self-control is based on a relatively broad basis of empirical studies. The role of time perception for self-control is yet based only on a few studies. The time pressure is investigated thoroughly in studies about stress, but hitherto less frequent in accordance with self-control.
